Karyn Sweet lives with her husband and four
children in the mountains of North Carolina. They purchased their land and
built a log home in 2007. Since then they have added chickens, an orchard, a
garden of medicinal plants and a
vegetable garden as well as a dog, two cats, and a rusted Porsche, because
they weren't busy enough. Karyn loves how homesteading allows her to provide
